THE GVRDEU IS SUSPENDING ALL ITS JOB ACTION AT METRO VANCOUVER LOCATIONS
Effective 1:00 pm, August 26, 2026, the Union has made the decision in suspending all our members from undertaking any job actions against Metro Vancouver.
The Union has received confirmation from arbitrator Stephen Kelleher, KC, that he has accepted the parties’ appointment to resolve the outstanding disputed issues arising from the 2025 contract negotiations and to finalize a Collective Agreement between the parties.
Your steward or a member of the executive will advise you of any updates regarding the agreed to binding interest arbitration process, as soon as they present themselves.
