THE GVRDEU IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING ALL ESTABLISHED PICKET LINES
Effective 4:30 pm today, June 15, 2026, picket lines have been temporarily suspended that were established at ALL locations.
Until further notice, GVRDEU members in Metro Vancouver Regional Parks will continue to perform their duties ONLY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Members will continue to be withdrawn from performing their duties in the Protective Services & Emergency Management Division across the entire Metro Vancouver Region.
Please be advised that information on future job action will be communicated through bulletins, and specifics about the Essential Services Global Order are available through your Shop Steward.
We strongly advise Members not to undertake any job action that is not sanctioned by the Union Executive.
