JOB ACTION
THE GVRDEU IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING ALL ESTABLISHED PICKET LINES
Effective 3:30 pm today, June 12, 2026, picket lines have been temporarily suspended that were established at ALL locations.
Until further notice, GVRDEU members in Metro Vancouver Regional Parks will perform their duties ONLY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
This escalated job action is being initiated to motivate Metro Vancouver Management to return to the negotiations table without preconditions, in an effort to reach a fair deal for workers.
Please be advised that information on future job action will be communicated through bulletins, and specifics about the Essential Services Global Order are available through your Shop Steward.
We strongly advise Members not to undertake any job action that is not sanctioned by the Union Executive.
