WITHDRAWAL OF GVRDEU MEMBERS FROM DESIGNATED METRO VANCOUVER SITES

Effective 6:00 am today, June 11, 2026, the Union has made the decision to temporarily remove our members from all duties at the following locations:

• South Fraser Works Yard, Surrey
• Ferrous Chloride Compound at City of Surrey Operations Centre, Surrey
• Sunnyside Reservoir at South Surrey Athletic Park, Surrey
• Pebble Hill PS/Reservoir, Delta

THE ABOVE ACTION APPLIES TO ALL MEMBERS WHO ARE LISTED ABOVE

Members have been contacted by the Union who will be required to maintain essential service levels. There will be appointed Picket Captains at all four locations.

Effective 6:00 am today, June 11, 2026, picket lines have been temporarily suspended that were established at the following locations:

• Kersland Pump Station, Vancouver
• Little Mountain Pump Station and Reservoir, Vancouver
• Westburnco Operations Yard, New Westminster
• Members who were withdrawn yesterday in the Communication Systems Division are back today to performing their duties.

Please be advised that information on future job action will be communicated through bulletins, and specifics about the Essential Services Global Order are available through your Shop Steward.

We strongly advise Members not to undertake any job action that is not sanctioned by the Union Executive.
