JOB ACTION
WITHDRAWAL OF GVRDEU MEMBERS FROM DESIGNATED METRO VANCOUVER SITES
Effective 6:00 am today, June 10, 2026, the Union has made the decision to temporarily remove our members from all duties at the following locations:
- Kersland Pump Station, Vancouver
- Little Mountain Pump Station and Reservoir (Entrance to Q.E. Park), Vancouver
- Westburnco Operations Yard, New Westminster
In addition to the identified picketed sites, members have also been withdrawn from performing their duties in the Communication Systems Division across the entire Metro Vancouver Region.
THE ABOVE ACTION APPLIES TO ALL MEMBERS WHO ARE LISTED ABOVE
Effective 6:00 am today, June 10, 2026, picket lines have been temporarily suspended that were established at the following locations:
• Lulu Island Wastewater Treatment Plant
• Northwest Langley Wastewater Treatment Plant
Please be advised that information on future job action will be communicated through bulletins, and specifics about the Essential Services Global Order are available through your Shop Steward.
We strongly advise Members not to undertake any job action that is not sanctioned by the Union Executive.
