There is no obligation to use your personal vehicle for work purposes. While you may be requested to do so, it is not required. Given the wear and tear on your vehicle, the mileage reimbursement from the employer may not adequately compensate for the use of your personal vehicle. If there is a need to travel between sites, the employer is responsible for providing transportation.
