The GVRDEU is pleased to announce the return of the Union Members Snow Day for 2022!

When? Saturday, Feb 12th, 6:30am – note new time! This has been requested by many of you previously

Where? Charter bus round trip Leaving the Hall at 6:30am to Whistler village

Returning departure 5:00pm, expected return approx. 7pm

Who? Members in Good Standing (ie, you’ve been sworn in)

Side note: NEXT YEAR also having attended At Least 1 meeting in the year

Why? – Because its fun!

Connect in a non-work environment to co-workers and folks you may not get to see on a regular basis

Cost? The low low union-subsidized price of $50 in union punch passes or cash

Further details? – Yes, we will be including rentals again for those who need them. Please include this in your RSVP email

– We will be following the current health orders (whatever they are at the time) the bus will qualify as an indoor space

Highlights: No day pass reservation system, lifts operating at Full Capacity, face coverings required on gondolas and indoors- doesn’t look like necessary on lifts. Vax passports required for restaurants/ bars/ patios; dining reservations will be required for on-mountain service, able to book the day in advance (I think that means top of the mountain, not village). Subject to whatever the latest provincial orders/ guidelines are at the time.
